Vince, I want to thank you for the plane tickets to Ontario. I don't know when I will have that opportunity to be with my parents, brother, and the kids together at same time again; and it was perfect. That was the best gift I could ever get. Thank you for being generous, understanding and great brother in-law.

My brother Vinnie,

I was wondering if you would want to talk to a small group of insurance agents in Houston on March 4th. I think your life story and success are inspiring and will change their lives. I will cover your expenses and buy you a steak.

W Please excuse my brevity and typing errors. Sent from Blackberry.

I received the following feedback from a manager at MeritBuilder.com

What they said I did:
Vince displays intense tenacity with any project he engages in. MeritBuilder is no different. He supported this project when many other could not or would not. But, Vince saw the future.

What impact they said I had:
Vince's actions saved the company. If he had given up we would not be on the verge of a major success. He encouraged us to take risks, simplify the message, and focus on the customer. It was these guiding principles that drove the delivery of the current MeritBuilder product. Customer response has already been very encouraging and I know the next few months will be lucrative!

Their comments:
I want to personally thank Vince for his vision and tenacity. I look forward to working with him on this and many other projects. He is truly a mentor and personal friend.

Sincerely,

R. Dustin Henderson Co-Founder MeritBuilder.com

Mr. Palasota, I have only known you for a day and yet I already have so much to thank you for. I know you are very busy. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to have lunch with me. I just regret it's too late for me to try out for the 12th man kickoff team. Our conversation has inspired me to seek out new opportunities and the book that you gave me (Game Plan) will serve as valuable insight. It was a privilege to have met you and I look forward to discussing the lessons from the book once I've read it.

Regards,

Steve Kinard Jr.

Vince,

Sitting in the meeting yesterday, I realized that I don't think I've done a very good job showing you my gratitude for the opportunities that you have given me in my life. Thank you so much for supporting me and my dreams in this life. You are truly an inspiration to me and many others, which is very evident w/ your support and participation in MeritBuilder alone, not to mention the many other projects and people you support. Thank you for generosity, inspiration, motivation and support.

Sincerely,

Stacy

Vince, When we asked you to speak to all of the young men and women at the Krum High School athletic banquet we knew you would do a good job but had no idea we were in for such a treat. Anyone who really knows you knows what an inspirational story your life is, but hearing it shared with a group of young adults, along with some of your advice to them, and told by you in your own words was truly inspiring. You truly have a gift for speaking to groups. There is no way to know what your long term impact was on this group but I hope that the standing ovation you received from the audience was some indication to you of how much we truly enjoyed hearing you speak to us. I hope the Lord blesses you with many more opportunities to share your knowledge, wisdom, and your story with groups such as this for many years to come.

I am proud to know someone like you and honored to call you a friend.

Camp Summit¹s 15th Annual Golf Tournament May 4, 2009 THANK YOU!! Please enjoy this memory of the day. Your participation helped raise over $80,000 to support Camp Summit¹s camping program for children and adults with disabilities. Each year more than 1200 campers who may be physically challenged, developmentally delayed, or have other disabilities ranging from mild to severe, come to a barrier-free environment for a traditional camp experience where the focus is on Abilities not disAbilities. They enjoy nature, learn new skills and relax with their friends because of the generosity of someone like you. Thank you again for participating in the Golf Tournament and becoming part of the Camp Summit family! Sincerely,

Vince,

The July 4th soft launch was an outstanding success. Your accuracy with a t-shirt gun is unmatched. And, you are the only guy I know who has a 50’s era fire truck standing by for just such an occasion. You provided my company and my family with memories we will never forget.

Vince,

Tenacity is the best word to describe you. Of course there are others: generous, honest, and caring are chief among them. But it is your tenacity what impresses me most. Your success is a result of your sheer force of will. If you believe in an idea or person, you stick with them to the very end and in most cases the end is marked by success.

Thank you for teaching me the meaning of "Never give-up" and how that philosophy can enrich one's existence. You truly leave it all on the field.

Lone Star Benefit Bash 2008 Benefiting Friedrichs Ataxia Research

Good causes are not hard to find. The purpose of this fundraiser golf tournament is to benefit a cause which hits close to home because Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA) afflicts two daughters of Bob Van Schoick, President of Med-Pharmex Animal Health. We have gotten to know Bob and his family and have decided that this rare disease deserves attention and support. We ask you to visit the websites mentioned in this invitation and learn more about FA and the organization FARA which is aggressively working toward treatments and a cure. The research funded by FARA is spilling over to the understanding of Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s, and Parkinson’s Disease, as well as other more common disorders.

We look forward to your participation, support and a great time on October 17th!
