Mrs. Baker,

I found you on this site when I was searching for a friend. You may not remember me. But about 11 years ago you taught my little girl. Her name was Samantha Myer. She was a shy little girl who was struggling with socializing, reading, and math – basically school as a whole.

I remember spending every other Saturday in your classroom, trying to figure out how to help Samantha. You were so dedicated. I thought we were at a private school. I remember telling my wife how blessed we were to have had you.

Because of your dedication and willingness to try anything, Samantha developed a love for reading. In a few weeks She will graduate with Honors. She has been accepted to Stanford. She wants to be a teacher.

She does not remember much of her time in your class, but I do. We are so proud of our little girl. You are a huge part of that. I wanted you to know, you are changing lives. Please keep doing what you are doing.

We are forever indebted to you. I have attached a picture of Samantha (all grown up). Thank you so very much.

Wow that was a great Spring Festival. I don't know how you do it all... family, teacher of the year, PTA, brownies and still managed to pull of the best Spring Festival ever! Thanks for all your hard work.

Because of your efforts, the kids will get the new playground. Unlike years past, the festival made money. In fact because of your bartering for publicity, we will have the 23k needed and 5k extra for library books.

Again, thank you so much. If there is EVER anything I can do, please don't hesitate to ask. And, I am already requesting that you head up next year's festival. I am not sure how we got you... but I am very thankful we did!

Cydney is not the same little girl that used to dread doing her homework or showing us her take home folder. I wanted to thank you for staying after school with Bobby.

I know it was a small thing. But, when he missed his bus he did not know what to do. The office was helpful and called me, but you saw him there and waited with him. Having a friendly face with him while I rushed to pick him up made his first day in a new school a much easier process.

Being a parent is hectic these days... Having a partner like you, makes all the difference.
